Ausser Quiz-Resultaten war hier jahrelang nicht viel zu finden, bis ich mich schliesslich mal dazu aufgerafft habe,
etliches Zeugs von meinem Sammelsurium hier abzulagern
- denn so ein Journal eignet sich doch eigentlich hervorragend, um einzelne Artikel und dergleichen unterzubringen...

If clockwise, then you use more of the right side of the brain and vice versa.
Most of us would see the dancer turning anti-clockwise though you can try to focus and change the direction; see if you can do it.

Ähm... wollen die mich veralbern? Selbstverständlich dreht sich diese Tänzerin im Uhrzeigersinn! Schliesslich hebt sie doch ihr rechtes Bein und sie dreht sich ja auch auf die rechte Seite... also warum in aller Welt sollte ich das andersrum sehen?!
Soll vielleicht so ein Optischer Trick sein oder weiss der Geier, doch da merk ich nichts - nicht mal wenn ich blinzle, sehe ich es verkehrt rum! Und dabei kommt bei mir in solchen Tests normalerweise immer raus, dass meine linke Gehirnhälfte dominant ist, bin ich doch auch unverbesserliche Rechtshänderin etc.pp. - na ja, ich sag's ja, wie schon der Test gestern gezeigt hat, bin ich eben eine komische Mischung.

Okay, inzwischen hab ich es auch schon links herum gesehen (Also total spiegelverkehrt, dass sie stattdessen plötzlich das linke Bein erhoben hatte und sich entsprechend gegen den Uhrzeigersinn drehte; und keine Ahnung wie das kam!), aber das erschien mir dann irgendwie total verkehrt und liess mir fast die Haare zu Berge stehen, vielleicht weil ich es vorher schon so lange andersrum gesehen habe... vielleicht auch, weil mir der Uhrzeigersinn viel selbstverständlicher vorkommt. Im Kindergartenalter ging ich auch mal ins Ballett, weil das angeblich gut für meine Haltung wäre, doch zugegeben ich verstehe nicht viel davon: Aber mir kommt es jedenfalls viel natürlicher vor, dass ich für eine Pirouette den rechten Arm und das rechte Bein zum Schwung heben würde, um mich dann entsprechend auf die rechte Seite zu drehen! ;-)

Bei mir ist natürlich wieder mal rausgekommen, dass mein Gehirn in einem wilden Mischmasch von typisch weiblich und typisch männlich funktioniert; bei so einer Memory-Übung, wo Frauen normalerweise besser abschneiden, war ich natürlich grottenschlecht, dafür hab ich bei den Linien ziemlich gut abgeschnitten... aber bei den Würfelfiguren hab ich am Anfang zu lange getrödelt, da wurde nicht viel draus. Aber handkehrumg, wenn ich mir bei den Wort-Assoziationen nicht erst noch krampfhaft was auf Englisch überlegt hätte, sondern gleich auf deutsch drauflosgeschrieben hätte, dann wären's da wohl auch mehr Punkte geworden... was aber am Schlussresultat auch nichts ändern würde! Ich bin so ziemlich in der Mitte, nicht unbedingt ausgeglichen, sondern immer wieder hin und her... ;-)

Wenn jemand den Test machen will, hier ein paar Tipps:
Es ist natürlich alles auf Englisch!
Legt ein Lineal bereit, denn es muss mal was vermessen werden. Nein, nicht das, ihr Ferkel! Finger!
Man kann bei den Wort-Assoziationen ruhig auf deutsch schreiben (nur ohne Umlaute).

Na eigentlich nicht schlecht, wenn man bedenkt, dass ich die Bibel nie komplett gelesen und deshalb oft geraten habe (na ja, deshalb und weil etliche Namen auf Englisch doch etwas anders tönen - bei John denke ich beispielsweise eher an John Sheppard von Atlantis als an einen Johannes den Täufer)...

Vor etlichen Jahren (da ging ich noch in die Schule, es ist also wirklich schon lange her) wollte ich eigentlich die Bibel mal lesen, nicht weil ich fromm wäre, sondern weil ich einfach mal wissen wollte, was denn da nun alles so drinsteht. Aber dann bin ich irgendwo nicht weit im Alten Testament stecken geblieben, als Gott seinem Auserwählten Volk bei irgendeiner Schlacht den Tipp gab, irgendwelchen Pferden die Sehnen durchzuschneiden, damit die Feinde sie nicht brauchen konnten - oder sowas in der Art. So ganz genau weiss ich's nicht mehr, ich weiss nur noch, dass es mir dann komplett abgelöscht hat. Bei so einem Gott, da braucht's keinen Teufel mehr... nein, danke!
Ich meine, dass es unter Menschen ständig Mord und Totschlag gibt und das nicht selten mit Gottes Segen, ist ja wirklich schon schlimm genug, aber dann auch noch Tierquälerei - das ist einfach zuviel!
Na ja, die Bibel wurde von Männern geschrieben, um eine Patriarchale Religion zu zementieren, was soll man da schon erwarten... aber als Kind hab ich mich da manchmal furchtbar aufgeregt.
